PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To solve the problem that frictional parts such as a liner ring of an impeller in a pump and bearings are abraded and eroded by slurry, and further cause pitting corrosion and crevice corrosion after having been used for a long period of time, because the contacting liquid is corrosive like sea water and occasionally contains a solid such as the earth and sand in itself; to provide the frictional parts having both abrasion resistance/erosion resistance and pitting corrosion resistance/crevice corrosion resistance; and to provide an optimum means for adding a desired material on a base material of the component to which the properties are demanded, by a local coating treatment. SOLUTION : An alloy suitable for a padding material with corrosion resistance and abrasion resistance for coating includes Ni, and by wt.% with respect to the total weight, 23-50% Cr, 7-20% V, 1.6% or more but (0.236V%+2)% or less C, Mo in an amount of at most 40% but not less than either (11-0.1xCr %)% or (125-4xCr %)% whichever is greater, and further 90% or less Cr, V and Mo in total.
