PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an Fe16 N2 system magnetic material capable of working a higher coercive force.
SOLUTION : A magnetic material includes an iron nitride system material. The present invention relates to an iron nitride system magnetic material and a green compact include as the iron nitride system material : a) a first powder including (Fe16-mXm)N2 in which a means particle diameter of a primary particle is 10 to 200nm (however, X indicates at least one kind of an element displacable to an Fe site, and m satisfies the following equation : 0≤m≤5); and b) a second powder including R2Fe17 Nn in which the mean particle diameter of the primary particle is 0.3 to 500 μm (however, R indicates at least one kind of a rare earth element, and n satisfies the following equation : 0
