PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a compact self-ballasted fluorescent lamp device conforming to a specification of an incandescent bulb.SOLUTION : This compact self-ballasted fluorescent lamp is characteristically equipped with : an envelope comprising a translucent globe having an outside diameter of about 60 mm or less and a cover comprising a case, and formed in a range so as to have a height of 110 mm including a base and to have a diameter of 60 mm; a fluorescent lamp in which both ends of a bulb having mercury and a rare gas enclosed in its inside and having a tube diameter of 6-12 mm and a tube length of around 200-420 mm are positioned on the side of a lighting circuit, and which is formed into a spiral shape by using a direction perpendicular to the rotation axis of the envelope as an axis, and housed in the envelope; and the lighting circuit housed on the base side relative to the fluorescent lamp by installing a circuit board so as to perpendicularly intersect with the longitudinal direction of the envelope. |
