PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a sufficient strength and avoid varying the dimensions, without deteriorating the characteristic by using a first and second epoxy resin binders; the second binder having a hardening property at a lower temp. than the glass transition point of the first binder. SOLUTION : A compact made of a rare earth magnet powder and first resin binder is impregnated through its pores with a second resin binder to form a rare earth bonded magnet. The first and second binders are epoxy resins and the second binder has a hardening property at a lower temp. than the glass transition point of the first binder. The main hardening agent of the first binder is an anhydrous acid compd. and that of the second binder is pref. a heterocyclic amine compd. |
