PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an electric power steering device capable of obtaining comfortable feel of steering without giving kick-back or inertia feel to a steerer.SOLUTION : In the electric power steering device 30 in which the generated torque from an electric motor 36 is output from the steering torque of wheels 33R and 33L, a rare earth magnet 42 is provided on a rotor 41 of the electric motor 36 so as to set the equivalent inertia moment of a steering wheel shaft to be ≤ 0.07 Kg × m2, and an inertia compensation control means to control the generated torque from the electric motor 36 is provided to detect the kickback of a vehicle and cancel the kickback reaction force. |
