PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a decorative material which is obtained in a form capable of being processed into an accessory or the like, and emits light or develops colors having respective different hues under visible light, black light (ultraviolet light) and IR light (infrared ray).
SOLUTION : A single crystal expressed by chemical formula : Sr(R1)(Ga1-x, R2x)3O7 and having a composition mentioned below is used as the decorative material. In the composition, R is at least one rare earth element selected from Sc, Y, La, Ce, Pr, Nd, Pm, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Yb, and Lu. |
