PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a magnetic chip that has a tip diameter of about 0.02 ϕ, is suitable for use as an MRFM apparatus, and is extremely sharpened while using a rare earth element magnet that is fragile for mechanical machining, and to provide a method for manufacturing the magnetic chip.
SOLUTION : The magnetic chip is manufactured, by including (1) a process for adhering magnetic powder to the tip section of a magnetic pole for sharpening a magnet; (2) a process for rotating the magnet side in which the magnetic power has adhered and reducing the distance between the two magnets with a line for connecting the magnetic pole in which magnetic powder has adhered and the magnetic pole for sharpening the reverse polarity of the magnet arranged opposite to the magnetic pole as a rotary axis; (3) a process for stretching the magnetic powder along lines of magnetic force created by two magnets; and (4) a process for hardening the stretched magnetic powder by resin. |
