PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a rare earth injection molding bonded magnet which has a nylon film on its surface, thereby having excellent rust resistance for salt and water, and to provide its manufacturing method.
SOLUTION : In the rare earth injection molding bonded magnet on a surface of the rare earth injection molding bonded magnet, containing a magnetic powder (A) and a thermoplastic resin binder (B), a nylon film (C) having a film thickness of 2 to 20 μm is coated. In the method of manufacturing the rare earth injection molding bonded magnet, after the rare earth injection molding bonded magnet has been formed from a compound containing the magnetic powder (A) and the thermoplastic resin binder (B), the rare earth injection molding bonded magnet is dipped in a nylon coating agent, or is coated with the coating agent by any of spraying, spin coating or brush coating. Thereafter, a solvent is evaporated to form the nylon film on the surface. |
