PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To solve problems of a high price, necessity of a wide installation surface area, and difficulty for installation of a conventional gravel removal tool which comprises a separation unit installed in a rotatable manner in an outer gutter having an inlet gutter and an outlet gutter, a dipping up type water retention tank formed in the separation unit by a partitioning wall, and a basin for sand and gravel in the rotation direction of the dipping up type water retention tank and which is for separating the sand and gravel from rootcrops by supplying the rootcrops contaminated with the sand and gravel via flowing water.
SOLUTION : The subject gravel removal method is for separating heavy matters such as gravel, earth and sand, and iron pieces from raw potato by blowing up water from a manhole formed in a down face of a flowing water gutter to the raw potato moving along with the flowing water in the flowing water gutter. |
