PURPOSE : A method of producing Acanthopanax sessiliflorus seedling by planting the fruit of Acanthopanax sessiliflorus in a mixture of earth and soil and then transplanting in cultivated land is provided. It permits effective production of high quality Acanthopanax sessiliflorus seedling. CONSTITUTION : A mixture of earth and sand in a weight ratio of 1 : 1 to 3 is uniformly spread into a thickness of 2 to 3cm in a seedling pot, the fruit of Acanthopanax sessiliflorus is sprinkled at 0.5cm intervals the mixture and hilled up into a thickness of about 1 to 2cm with the mixture. Then, the seedling pot is stored in a dark well-ventilated place until next spring to give shoots of Acanthopanax sessiliflorus. The shoots are transplanted in cultivated land at regular intervals of 300 to 400 shoots per pyeong(a pyeong equals 3.3058m¬2) of the cultivated land. |
