The preparation of a composite material, incorporating a fibre reinforcement and a vitroceramic matrix of lithium aluminosilicate (LAS), comprises : - (a) preparation of an earth of precursors for the matrix, including a lithium salt, a reactive binder containing alumina, colloidal silica and a solvent, and homogenizing the earth; - (b) impregnation of the reinforcing fibres with the prepared earth; - (c) drying the impregnated reinforcing fibres to obtain a gelled composite material made up of a fibre reinforcement and a gelled matrix; -(d) densification of the gelled composite material at a temperature of less than or equal to 500 degrees C. |
