简介 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide the method with which a thin film, small-type and complicatedly shaped R-Fe-B and R-Co rare-earth sintered permanent magnet, on which the reaction between alloy powder and a binder is suppressed, the amount of residual oxygen and carbon of a sintered body is reduced, the fluidity and the lubricating property of the granulated powder is improved, magnetic characteristics are enhanced and dimensional accuracy is superior, can be obtained in a stable and efficiency manner. SOLUTION : After a hydrophobic nature has been imparted to rare-earth alloy powder with an organic metal compound, the powder is granulated while a binder is being atomized and added in the chamber of a fluidized bed granulating device, the granulated material is agitated using hot gas and an agitating blade 2, and granulated powder is formed by drying. By the formation of a sintered magnet, using the granulated powder by conducting a powder metallurgy, the fluidity of the powder, when powder is supplied before compression molding and a compression molding operation is conducted, can be improved, the cycle of molding and the dimensional accuracy of th molded body can be improved, and the oxidation reaction with the water in the binder can be suppressed by hydrophobic treatment. As a result, sintered magnet, having superior magnetic characteristics, can be manufactured in a stable and efficient manner.
