PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a metallic product provided with a hard film having excellent adhesion which can improve the adhesion between the hard from formed on a cutting tool, sliding member, a metal working tool, a plastic molding tool or the like and a metal base material, and can sufficiently improve the service life of the tool or the like formed with the hard film, to provide a method of producing the metallic product, and to provide a cutting tool and a die coated with the hard film.
SOLUTION : A compound layer with a nitrogen is not present between a metal base material and a nitriding layer, the nitriding layer is subjected to ion bombardment treatment in an atmosphere of inert gas such as Ar, He and Ne, and a single layer film, a composite film or a gradient film of the carbide, nitride or carbonitride of at least one or more kinds of elements selected from the group IVa, Va and VIa and/or a single layer film, a composite film, a gradient film or a diamond like carbon (DLC) film of the nitride of AlXTi1-X-Y-ZMYRZ (wherein, M is one or more kinds of elements selected from W and Mo or one or more kinds of elements selected from one or more kinds of elements selected from W and Mo and one or more kinds of elements selected from rare earth elements selected from Si and Cr; R is one or more kinds of rare earth elements selected from Y, Ce, La, misch metal or the like, 0.05≤X≤0.7; 0.02≤Y≤0.25; and 0.0005≤Z≤0.05) is provided. |
