PURPOSE : A processing method of rice is provided which prevents the rice from deteriorating after the long term storage, removes the residual agricultural chemicals and reduces the acidity of the rice to the neutrality by mixing the rare-earth based mineral and the loess. CONSTITUTION : The processing method of rice comprises steps of preparing the materials such as illite which is the rare-earth based mineral, brown rice and loess wherein the loess is gathered from nature, precipitated in water to filter fine grains and dried in a mass; putting illite and the loess mass individually into a pulverizer and pulverizing it to fine powders; forming the particulate powders not more than 10 micrometer by sieving the pulverized powders with a sieve having the particle size of 1500 meshes; mixing 94 to 96 wt.% of brown rice, 4 to 5 wt.% of illite powders and 0.3 to 0.7 wt.% of loess powders uniformly to apply the illite and loess powders evenly on the surface of the brown rice; storing it for at least 24 hours; and milling the brown rice so as to keep the pure white degree of 92% to polished rice. |
