PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an R-T-X based permanent magnet which enables the enhancement of a magnetic property by performing structural control in a manner absolutely independent of a composition.SOLUTION : An R-T-X based permanent magnet comprises an R-T-X based compound including R2T14X crystal of tetragonal crystal system, where R represents one or more kinds selected from rare earth elements including scandium and yttrium, T represents one or more kinds of transition metal element including iron, or two or more kinds of transition metal elements including iron and cobalt, and X represents boron, or boron and carbon. When a lattice constant of an a-axis of the R2T14X crystal is denoted by "a", and a lattice constant of the a-axis that the R2T14X crystal of tetragonal crystal system having the same composition as the R2T14X crystal shows when being the most stable in terms of energy is denoted by "ab", "a" and "ab" satisfy the relation given by a/ab>1.000.SELECTED DRAWING : Figure 1COPYRIGHT : (C)2019, JPO&INPIT |
