While performing mechanical massage, a massage apparatus comprises : a massage treatment device, a mechanical movement device, a voice control device, and a user to be massaged. The user to be massaged generally lies down and the mechanical movement device moves the massage treatment device up, down, left, and right so that the massage treatment device is positioned on a specific body part of the user. The massage treatment device can perform various massage actions such as pressing, punching, and rubbing repeatedly the body part.
