PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a multilayer ceramic capacitor ensuring high reliability without impairing sinterability of a side margin part. SOLUTION : A multilayer ceramic capacitor includes a lamination part and a side margin part. The lamination part has multiple ceramic layers laminated in a first direction, and internal electrodes placed between the multiple ceramic layers. The side margin part covers the lamination part from a second direction orthogonal to the first direction, and has rare-earth element concentration and vanadium concentration higher than those in the central part of the multiple ceramic layers in the second direction.
