The present invention relates to a monolithic pure reinforced earth abutment and a method for constructing the same. The method for constructing a monolithic pure reinforced earth abutment comprises the steps of : constructing a reinforced earth retaining wall at an end of an embankment of a road; installing a lower abutment on the reinforced earth retaining wall; holding a girder on the lower abutment; building an upper abutment to be integrated with an end portion of the girder held on the lower abutment; putting support blocks on another at one side of the lower abutment; embanking an upper portion of the reinforced earth retaining wall with soil; and constructing connection slabs on the upper surface of the support blocks put on another and on the embankment surface on the reinforced earth retaining wall so as to be connected with the upper abutment. Therefore, the present invention can minimize differential settlement between the embankment of the road and a backfill part by allowing a partial subsidence to enhance driving comfort, and prevent deterioration and damage of a bridge due to a water leak of an expansion joint by excluding an expansion joint device of an existing bridge.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2018
