PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an R-Fe-B based rare earth magnet so that R mainly consists of Ce, which enables the increase in coercive force even if a rare earth element R1 other than Ce is very small in content.SOLUTION : A rare earth magnet has a general composition represented by the following formula : CepR1qT(100-p-q-r-s)BrM1s (where R1 is a rare earth element other than Ce; T represents one or more selected from Fe, Ni and Co; M represents one or more selected from Ti, Ga, Zn, Si, Al, Nb, Zr, Mn, V, W, Ta, Ge, Cu, Cr, Hf, Mo, P, C, Mg, Hg, Ag and Au, and an inevitable impurity; and p, q, r and s satisfy 11.80≤p≤12.90, 0≤q≤3.00, 5.00≤r≤20.00 and 0≤s≤3.00). The rare earth magnet comprises magnetic phases, and (Ce, R1) rich phases that are present around the magnetic phases.SELECTED DRAWING : Figure 2COPYRIGHT : (C)2018, JPO&INPIT
