The present invention relates to a phosphor composition, a light emitting device package including the same, and a lighting device. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the phosphor composition may be a red phosphor composition having chemical formula, A_aB_bC_cD_d : RE_e. A includes a divalent element of at least one element among Mg, Ca, Sr, and Ba. B includes at least one element among tetravalent elements of Ge, Si, Sn, and C and/or at least one element among trivalent elements of Sc, Y, B, Al, Ga, and In. C includes at least one among O, S, and N. D includes at least one among F, Cl, Br, I, and Mn. RE includes at least one among Mn or rare earth elements of La, Ce, Pr, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy, Er, Tm, Yb, and Lu.
