PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an aqueous cleaning solution which has an excellent cleaning property for water paints, where water paint-containing waste water generated by the cleaning causes little foaming and has a good solid-liquid separation property.SOLUTION : An aqueous cleaning solution for use in cleaning equipment, apparatus or articles having a water paint adhering thereto contains a polyethyleneimine and an amine compound represented by the general formula (1), where Rand Rare C1-4 alkyl groups, and X is a C1-5 alkylene group. A content of the amine compound is 0.25 mass% or more, and a content of the polyethyleneimine is 0.07 to 0.19 mass%.SELECTED DRAWING : None
