PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a method for manufacturing a rare earth magnet capable of suppressing non-uniform weight between compacts. SOLUTION : A method for manufacturing a sintered magnet includes the steps of : supplying rare-earth alloy powders P into a cavity V of a die 10 placed on a weight measuring instrument 50; controlling the weight of the rare-earth alloy powders P on the basis of information related to the weight obtained from the weight measuring instrument 50 so that the weight comes in a prescribed range; obtaining a compact by compressing the rare-earth alloy powders P in the cavity V by a punch after controlling the weight; and sintering the compact.
