FIELD : biochemistry. SUBSTANCE : invention relates to biocides. Biocidal composition includes : an imidazoline compound, a quaternary amine and a phosphonium compound, wherein the imidazoline compound has the formula (I), (II) or (III) , where each of R1, R4 and R5 are independently selected from hydrogen, alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, cycloalkyl, cycloalkenyl, aryl, heteroaryl and heterocycle, said alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, cycloalkyl, cycloalkenyl, aryl, heteroaryl and heterocycle, each independently, in each case, unsubstituted or substituted with 1 to 3 substituents, independently selected from halogen, -COR6, -CO2R7, -SO3R8, -PO3H2, -CON(R9)(R10), -OR11 and -N(R12)(R13); R2 means a radical derived from a fatty acid; each of R3 and Rx is independently selected from the radical formed by the unsaturated acid; each of R6, R7, R8, R9, R10 and R11 independently, in each case, is selected from hydrogen, alkyl and alkenyl; each of R12 and R13 independently of each case, is selected from hydrogen, alkyl, -COR14, -CO2R15, -alkyl-COR16 and -alkyl-CO2R17; and each of R14, R15, R16 and R17th independently, in each case, is selected from hydrogen, alkyl and alkenyl.
