PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a rare earth permanent magnet and a manufacturing method of the same, capable of improving magnet characteristics of a permanent magnet by properly conducting magnetic orientation. SOLUTION : A mixture is produced by mixing a magnet powder, formed by pulverizing a magnet raw material, and a binder. The produced mixture is formed into a long sheet-shape, and a green sheet 13 is manufactured. Then, by applying a magnetic field in an in-plane direction and a width direction of the green sheet 13 before the formed green sheet 13 is dried, magnetic orientation is conducted. Then, the green sheet 13 is sintered, thereby a permanent magnet 1 is manufactured. COPYRIGHT : (C)2013, JPO&INPIT
