PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a leave-on hair cosmetic without stickiness to hands and hair in use.SOLUTION : A leave-on hair cosmetic contains (A) an isoparaffin having an average carbon number of 50 to 250, (B) a paraffin mixture comprising an isoparaffin having a carbon number of 12 to 16 and containing less than 10 mass% of 2, 2, 4, 6, 6- pentamethyl heptane, (C) 1 or 2 compounds selected from the group consisting of basic amino acid and the formula (I), (D) 1 or 2 or more ester-type nonionic surfactants, and (E) water. (In the formula, Rand Rare each independently a hydrogen atom or the like, at least one of Rand Ris a hydroxypropyl group, and Ris a hydrogen atom or the like.)
