PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a production method of a magnet alloy powder capable of suppressing a coercive force from degrading in room temperature after heating, even when exposed to a high temperature in the production process of a bond magnet or during use as the bond magnet.
SOLUTION : A production method of a magnet alloy powder according to the present invention is a method for producing a magnet alloy powder by pulverizing an iron-based magnet alloy powder containing a rare earth element in an organic solvent containing phosphoric acid, and when pulverizing the iron-based magnet alloy powder, the pH of the organic solvent containing phosphoric acid is set to 1.5 or higher and 8.0 or lower, a concentration of phosphoric acid in the organic solvent is set to 0.1% by volume or higher and 20% by volume or lower, and one or more kinds of compounds containing an element selected from the group consisting of titanium, vanadium, chromium, manganese, aluminum, silicon, copper, zinc, and molybdenum is added in the range of 0.001 mol/L or higher and 10 mol/L or lower as a concentration in the organic solvent.
