PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a method for capturing rare cells at a high capture rate, from liquid containing the rare cells and blood. SOLUTION : A method for capturing a rare cell includes the steps of removing at least some of erythrocytes from liquid containing rare cells and blood, and filtering the liquid from which at least some of erythrocytes has been removed.
