PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide methods and devices for powdering neodymium-iron-boron rare earth permanent magnetic alloys.
SOLUTION : Mixed powder after a hydrogen pulverization is introduced into a hopper 1 of a material feeder 2, sent to a grinder chamber 4 by the material feeder 2, and ground with a high-speed gas flow ejected by a nozzle 6. The ground powder is then introduced, with the gas flow, into a centrifugal powder separator 5 for sorting of the powder. Fine powder is introduced, by the separator 5, into a cyclone collector 8 and collected there, and a small amount of fine powder discharged out with the gas flow from a gas discharging pipe 13 of the cyclone collector 8 is collected by a post cyclone collector 10. The fine powder collected by the cyclone collector 8 and by the post cyclone collector 10 is introduced, by a material collector 18, into a material collection tank 19. The gas discharged from the post cyclone collector 10 is compressed by a compressor and cooled by a cooler, and introduced into an inlet pipe 16 of the nozzle for recycling of the gas.
