PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To allow for recommending TV programs that are highly likely to be watched by a user.SOLUTION : A TV program recommendation device 1 comprises : a watching degree identification unit 143 configured to identify a program watching degree of a user for each genre of programs based on a program watching history of the user; a rarity identification unit 141 configured to identify rarity of each of a plurality of genres based on genres to which a plurality of programs belong; a weighting unit 144 configured to weight watching degrees for the plurality of genres based on rarity; a genre identification unit 145 configured to identify a recommended genre based on the weighted program watching degrees; and a recommendation unit 146 configured to recommend programs belonging to the identified genre.SELECTED DRAWING : Figure 2COPYRIGHT : (C)2017, JPO&INPIT
