PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a rare earth sintered magnet excellent in magnetic properties, corrosion resistance, and mechanical strength while a magnetization direction can be easily recognized.SOLUTION : A rare earth sintered magnet 1 is composed of a magnet piece 2 and a nickel plating layer formed on the surface of the magnet piece 2. The nickel plating layer is formed with markings 3 for displaying magnetic poles. The thickness of the nickel plating layer is 3 to 50 μm at a portion where the marking 3 is not formed and 1 μm or more at a portion where the marking 3 is formed.SELECTED DRAWING : Figure 1COPYRIGHT : (C)2017, JPO&INPIT
