PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a neodymium iron boron magnet and a method of preparing the same. SOLUTION : An embodiment of the present invention provides a neodymium iron boron magnet including a neodymium iron boron magnet blank and an RTMH alloy layer formed on a surface thereof : where R represents one or more selected from among rare earth elements; T represents Fe and/or Co; M represents one or more selected from the group consisting of Al, Si, Ti, V, Cr, Mn, Ni, Cu, Zn, Ga, Ge, Zr, Nb, Mo, Ag, In, Sn, Sb, Hf, Ta, W, Pt, Au, Pb, and Bi; and H represents a hydrogen atom. The present invention significantly enhances the coercive force of a magnet and, at the same time, does not remarkably reduce original residual magnetism and a maximum magnetic energy product of the magnet.
