PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To achieve both wet road brake performance and rolling resistance performance while maintaining tear resistance.SOLUTION : There is provided a rubber composition containing 100 pts.mass of diene rubber, 10 to 150 pts.mass of silica, 1 to 30 pts.mass of a diene polymer chain having at least one group represented by the general formula (1) in a molecule and a main chain with a number average molecular weight of 4000 to 50000, and 1 to 30 pts.mass of at least one kind of resin selected from a group consisting of petroleum resin, rosin-based resin, and styrenic resin. In the general formula (1), R, R, and Rare an alkyl group or alkoxy group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms and at least one is an alkoxy group, X is a hydrocarbon group having 1 to 18 carbon atoms, and Y is an urethane bond, an amide bond, an imide bond, and an urea bond.
