The present invention relates to a method of controlling an air-fuel ratio using an oxygen sensor. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the method of controlling an air-fuel ratio using an oxygen sensor includes : a step of measuring voltage with an oxygen sensor; a step of determining whether the measured voltage is distorted in only one direction of a dense-to-thin direction and a thin-to-dense direction; and a step of, in response to the determination that only one direction is distorted, controlling the air-fuel ratio with a bidirectionally distorted signal made by distorting only a voltage signal of a normal direction among the dense-to-thin direction and the thin-to-dense direction.
