PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a manufacturing method of a copolymer capable of easily manufacturing the copolymer having a conjugated diene derived part with high cis-1, 4-bond content.
SOLUTION : The manufacturing method of a copolymer including a polymerization reaction process for copolymerizing a conjugated diene monomer and a polar monomer in presence of a polymerization catalyst composition containing a rear earth element compound (A) represented by the following formula (C1) : M-(AQ1)(AQ2)(AQ3), where M is at least one selected from a group consisting of lanthanoid elements, scandium and yttrium, AQ1, AQ2 and AQ3 are functional groups containing at least one selected from nitrogen, oxygen and sulfur and may be same or different and has at least one M-N bond, M-O bond or M-S bond, and a substituted or unsubstituted compound (B) having at least one selected from a group consisting of cyclopentadienyl group, indenyl group and fluorenyl group.
