The present invention provides a method for producing a rare earth magnet, comprising the steps of : preparing a rare earth magnet powder containing R, Fe and B as compositional components (wherein, R is one or two or more species selected from rare earth elements including Y and Sc, M is one or two or more of a metal); mixing a rare earth compound containing a heavy rare earth hydride with the rare earth magnet powder; magnetic field shaping the mixed powder; and performing sintering and heavy rare earth diffusion at the same time.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
