The present invention relates to artificially produced soil for crop cultivation and, more particularly, to rare earth element-containing soil for urban farming with an element ratio of 20 to 25 wt% of coco peat, 15 to 20 wt% of leaf mold, 10 to 15 wt% of soil cement, 5 to 10 wt% of vermiculite, 5 to 10 wt% of zeolite, 5 to 10 wt% of artificial lightweight aggregate, 1 to 5 wt% of ash soil fertilizer, 1 to 3 wt% of chlorella, and 1 to 2 wt% of vegetable amino acid. According to the present invention, a rare earth fertilizer enhances the nitrate reduction reaction activity of a crop, and thus nutritional growth of a plant can be promoted and a significant increase in harvest can be achieved. In addition, it is excellent in water holding capacity and self-binding, is light in weight, has a high level of workability, and has a high level of stability with respect to organic matter decomposition to the point of preventing a physicochemical change during distribution or cultivation that is attributable to microbial decomposition. The small amount of vegetable amino acid assists in the amino acid absorption by the crop even in a home veranda or the like with adverse growth environments, and thus rapid growth can be performed. Furthermore, the present invention has an appropriate specific gravity, and thus the leaf surfaces of the crop are not contaminated, a comfortable and fresh scent is given, and crop cultivation can be performed without special top dressing by the provided soil for urban farming.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
