PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide shoes having a deodorant function capable of maintaining over an extended period, a direct deodorant effect to isovaleric acid which is a main component of odor of feet. SOLUTION : There are provided shoes having a deodorant function in which a glassy deodorizer 1 is carried on a member 2 constituting the shoes. The glassy deodorizer comprises alkali-alkaline earth-borosilicate glass containing a copper component, or alkali-alkaline earth-silicate glass containing a copper component, and has a function for decomposing a malodorous component by a catalytic action of the copper component held in glass.
