PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To solve a problem involved in conventional methods for recovering rare metal indium, which is contained in an effluent of an etchant for a transparent electrode such as ITO, that most of the methods require a recovery material such as a chelate resin, and to provide a method for recovering a solid containing indium easily in high concentration. SOLUTION : Provided is a method for recovering indium, comprising the steps of : adding potassium hydroxide to an effluent containing indium and oxalic acid; and filtering the effluent to obtain a residue. Hereby, when the effluent contains indium and oxalic acid, a cake containing a high concentration of indium can be obtained. SELECTED DRAWING : None COPYRIGHT : (C)2017, JPO&INPIT
