PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To acquire a novel microorganism having capability of selectively eluting rare-earth elements which are dysprosium (Dy), neodymium (Nd) and praseodymium (Pr) in particular contained in iron residue derived from a magnet. SOLUTION : A mixed microorganism having capability of selectively eluting rare-earth elements from a substance containing rare-earth elements contains at least Acidithiobacillus albertensis, Sphingomonas leidyi, Prevotella melaninogenica and Faecalibacterium prausnitzii, in which a ratio of Acidithiobacillus albertensis is 30 to 40%, a ratio of Sphingomonas leidyi is 4 to 7%, a ratio of Prevotella melaninogenica is 2 to 5%, and a ratio of Faecalibacterium prausnitzii is 1 to 3%.
