PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a sintered body for a zinc oxide-based varistor having sufficient characteristics without using a rare earth element and a multilayer substrate including the same.SOLUTION : The sintered body for a zinc oxide-based varistor includes zinc oxide as a main component, contains a bismuth oxide of 0.6 to 1.8 mol% in terms of Bi, and a manganese oxide of 1.0 to 7.0 mol% in terms of Mn. The content of RM (RM is Sb, a rare earth element, Li, V, Ga, Zr, Ta, Cr, Ge, Nb, Te, W, Co, Se, Mo, Cs, Re, Rb, Pd, Ba, Pt, Ti, Ni, Sr, In, Hf, Tl) and Sn is less than or equal to an impurity level.SELECTED DRAWING : Figure 1COPYRIGHT : (C)2017, JPO&INPIT
