A flux cored wire is disclosed. An aspect of the present invention provides a flux cored wire having a flux charged within a metal enclosure. The flux contains BaF2 of 5.0-14.0 w% with respect to an overall weight of a wire, a rare earth element equivalent value of a rare earth oxide of 0.4-1.5%, at least one selected from the group consisting of an Al-based reducing agent and an Mg-based reducing agent of 2.0-3.8%, an alkaline metal fluoride of 0.5-2.4%, an alkaline metal carbonate of 0.1-0.35%, a ferric oxide of 2.0-4.0%, Mn of 1.0-1.2%, and Ni+Zr of 0.8-2.2%. According to the present invention, a welding workability can be improved for a self-shielding arc welding process.
