High brightness-long afterglow Photoluminescent pigments and manufacturing methods thereof

The present invention relates to a high brightness long afterglow phosphorescent pigment having high brightness of 50, 000 mcd or more, higher than an existing phosphorescent pigment, and afterglow time of 12 hours or more, and having brightness and afterglow time changed depending upon surrounding temperature, by increasing brightness by using a lanthanide rare earth element such europium (Eu), dysprosium (Dy) or the like as an activator, and mixing alkali earth metal such as SrCO_3, BaCO_3, CaCO_3 or the like which is an additive to Al_2O_3 which is a phosphorescent body by a certain ratio. The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing the phosphorescent pigment, to a method for manufacturing a high brightness phosphorescent bead which is economical by using a thermosetting solid powder resin, and to a thermal switch device controlling brightness and afterglow time by being mounted on various phosphorescent materials.
