PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a fragrance-releasing agent which can be stably compounded regardless of the form or use of a formulation, has good storage stability, and in practical use can stably release raspberry ketone in controlled manner over a long period.SOLUTION : The fragrance-releasing agent includes a silicic acid ester compound represented by formula (1). In the formula : Ris a 1-18C alkyl group; R, Rand Rare each independently a hydrogen atom or a 1-30C alkyl or aryl group which may have a substituent; and one or two of R, Rand Rare each a residue obtained by removing a phenolic hydroxyl group from 4-(3-oxobutyl)phenol.
