FIELD : technological processes. SUBSTANCE : group of inventions relates to processes of selective extraction of ions from solutions. Water solution stream is passed in the working zone of a vertical sorption column through a layer of moving from top to bottom granular sorbent. Immediately after the beginning of the solution contact with the sorbent the solution flow in the working zone is directed perpendicular to direction of movement of the sorbent layer. Upper part of the sorbent layer equal to 0.1-0.5 of the sorbent layer height in the working zone is maintained in the state of dehydrated intergranular space. Two versions of the device are proposed. In one version the working chamber of the column is arranged coaxially inside the sorption column, herewith the working chamber walls are made as slotted drainage devices providing the possibility of the initial solution flowing through the sorbent layer in horizontal direction. In the other version the working chamber of the column is formed by inner walls of the sorption column provided with drainage devices and outer walls of a coaxial pipeline feeding the solution and provided with a solution flow distributor. Said distributor enables the solution flowing through the sorbent layer in horizontal direction. EFFECT : declared group of inventions provides higher efficiency of extracting ions of rare and non-ferrous metals from complex and supersaturated solutions characterized by a tendency to form fine-dispersed precipitations and gels. 4 cl, 2 dwg, 6 tbl, 12 ex
