According to the present invention, in the R-Fe-B type rare earth magnetic substances having diffused dissimilar metal, dissimilar metal is reduced by a reaction between a remaining hydrogen which is in the R-Fe-B-type rare earth magnetic powder made by the processes of hydrogenation, disproportionation, desorption, recombination (HDDR), and metal particles; and the dissimilar metal is diffused in the grain boundary surface. The present invention provides the R-Fe-B-type rare earth magnetic powder having diffused dissimilar metal on the grain boundary surface and a manufacturing method thereof, which forcibly discharges the remaining hydrogen in the R-Fe-B-type rare earth magnetic powder and coats the grain boundary surface with the dissimilar metal which has made a reduction reaction with the discharged remaining hydrogen for an improved coercive force.
