PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a gas separation membrane which is excellent in heat resistance and high-temperature steam resistance, and a method for manufacturing the gas separation membrane.SOLUTION : A gas separation membrane includes a support body and a separation layer, and the separation layer is formed by firing a polysiloxane represented by following formula (1). In formula (1), A is an organic group having 2-10 carbon atoms and having a carbon-carbon unsaturated bond capable of hydrosilylation reaction; Ris at least one group selected from an alkylene group having 1-20 carbon atoms, a divalent aromatic group having 6-20 carbon atoms, and a divalent alicyclic group having 3-20 carbon atoms; n is 0 or 1; R-Rare each at least one selected from a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group having 1-10 carbon atoms, and an organic group having 2-10 carbon atoms and having a carbon-carbon unsaturated bond capable of hydrosilylation reaction; and Ris an alkyl group having 1-6 carbon atoms.
