An Al alloy film for anode electrodes of organic EL elements, which is characterized by containing one or more elements that are selected from the group consisting of Si, Ge, Bi, In, Sn and Zn, while containing from 0.2 atom% to 5.0 atom% (inclusive) of a rare earth element and/or a high melting point metal. This Al alloy film for anode electrodes of organic EL elements is also characterized by having a work function of 4.5 eV or more.
