The present invention relates to a dental zirconia block and a manufacturing method thereof. The manufacturing method includes the steps of : (a) preparing various zirconia-based materials including zirconia powder, rare earth materials with strength and transmittancy, and toning materials for implementing color gradient; (b) injecting the mixture prepared by mixing the zirconia-based materials at a predetermined ratio to achieve target strength, transmittancy, and color gradient into a press mold and forming a multi-layered structure with a predetermined pressure; (c) calcining the molded article to prepare zirconia blocks; (d) preparing the blocks in a predetermined tooth shape to check the strength, transmittancy, and color gradient thereof; and (e) sintering the tooth shape at a predetermined temperature to implement the strength, transmittancy, and color gradient.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
