The present invention relates to a luminous rare earth compound and a dichroic phosphor composition comprising the same and, more specifically, the luminous rare earth compound is excited by short wavelength ultraviolet ray. The luminous rare earth compound and/or a product applying the compound according to the present invention is matt under a visible ray, is not excited in wavelength of 360-380 nm, and emits strong red and green light by being excited in wavelength of 240-330 nm. Also, the compound has high insulation, light resistance and high dispersibility of medium light, thereby being variously used in a printed matter or a plastic formed product. An excited luminous compound different from the luminous rare earth compound according to the present invention is mixed to provide a composition emitting light having various colors in each of different wavelength ranges.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
