The present invention relates to an anisotropic complex sintered magnet with an improved magnetic characteristic comprising MnBi, and a method to manufacture the anisotropic complex sintered magnet by atmospheric sintering. One aspect of the present invention is to provide a sintered magnet, as an anisotropic complex sintered magnet comprising MnBi particles and rare-earth hard magnetic particles, characterized by comprising carbon residue in an interface between the particles. As the anisotropic complex sintered magnet comprising MnBi of the present invention is able to realize excellent magnetic characteristics, it is made possible to replace the existing rare-earth bond magnets. Moreover, as the anisotropic complex sintered magnet comprising MnBi is produced by an atmospheric sintering method, continuous processing is possible and is economical in that a sintering method used in an existing permanent magnet process is employed.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
